Sally Wynkoop (Day)

Sally Hope Wynkoop Day of Washington Crossing died Thursday October 25, 2012.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the beloved wife of Paul R. Day, and daughter of the late Robert C. and Joan Rasmussen Wynkoop.

Sally has been a resident of Washington Crossing for the past 17 years. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School, Los Angeles, CA and State University, Bakersfield.

Sally was member of the Clumber Spaniel Club of America and was on the rescue and placement committee, her dedication ensured the safety and well being of any Clumber Spaniel in need, the committee’s goals are to provide emergency, regular or long term assistance and properly place those rescued in an appropriate, loving home that will ensure the best possible future for the dog. Sally will be deeply missed by all who had the chance to come to know her caring ways.

In addition to her beloved husband, Paul, she is survived by her twin sister, Molly Williams, 3 brothers; Robert, Brad and Walker Wynkoop.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Gathering on Saturday November 3, 2012, for Words of Remembrance at 12:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.

In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to, The HOPE Fund, c/o Mary Pat Morris, 413 Foothills Road, Greenville SC, 29617. The HOPE Fund has been established in Sally’s memory to provide medical care for senior and special needs Clumber Spaniels.
